Cheatham County Community Theater is pleased to present “Pygmalion.” The play is coming to the stage Feb. 17, 18, 19, 24, 25 and 26 under the direction of Pete Hiett.

George Bernard Shaw’s “Pygmalion” was the inspiration for the classic musical “My Fair Lady” and features all the well-known characters, including Henry Higgins and Eliza Doolittle. Higgins attempts to take a common flower girl and educate and teach her proper English so she can pass herself off as a sophisticated, upper-class lady.

Friday and Saturday performances are at 7:30 p.m., and Sunday matinees are at 2:30 p.m. Ticket prices are $12 for adults and $6 for seniors 65 and up and students. Group pricing is also available. Cheatham County Community Theater is located at the Jean Downey Theater behind Harpeth High School, 170 E. Kingston Springs Rd., Kingston Springs, Tenn.

The play is being brought to stage in part by South Cheatham Advocate, Community Bank and Trust, and Harmony House Publications.
