Cheatham County Community Theater and the John E. Mayfield Charitable Foundation present “The Wizard of Oz” coming to the stage on July 24, 25, 26, 31, and August 1st and 2nd. Friday and Saturday performances are at 7:30p.m., Sundays are at 2:30p.m.
In this classic favorite directed by Nicole Arnold, young Dorothy dreams of what lies over the
rainbow. One day a twister hits her
Kansas farm and carries her over the rainbow to a strange new world. Come join Dorothy, the Scarecrow, the Tin Man, the Cowardly Lion and Toto as they travel through the wonderful world of Oz. The Wizard of Oz includes favorite songs from the movie, such as Over The Rainbow, Munchkinland (Ding Dong! The Witch Is Dead), We're Off To See The Wizard (Follow The
Yellow Brick Road) and The Merry
Old
Land of Oz. With 50 cast members from children to adult, over 100 costumes, wonderful singing, and lots of energy, this presentation will guarantee to delight all.
Ticket prices are $10 for adults, $5 for students with ID and seniors 65 and older. Group discount pricing available.
